walk In their shoes.....

Ms Wrightson's S2 pupils spent time on a project that looked closely at the work of Sharon Jenson which explored the lives of people less fortunate than themselves.  The project in a nutshell:

· Starting point – pupils working on tonal studies,
(Boots & Shoes, Charcoal, Chalk & Paint)
· Pupil Comment – “why don’t you bin some of these”
· Discussion- they’re good enough to draw, but they’d be hard to wear
· Introduction to Article/Images
“TAKE A WALK IN THEIR SHOES”
· Further discussion
· Active tasks: enlarging image/transfer to print tile/printing/collage/some creative writing/cutting out/assembling individual display sheets on re-cycled paper
